About the Churton Park Association
About
The association is made up of volunteers resident in the Churton Park suburb who donate their time to support, promote and help our suburb to thrive. Each year, the Annual General Meeting is held as a public meeting where members are elected onto the committee. Meetings are held monthly on the second Thursday of the month from 7pm. These are located the Churton Park Community Centre.
Current areas of interest needing a volunteer to assist with:

* Improving dog facilities and owner education in Churton Park

What we do?
Most members have an area of interest that they pursue. Some enjoy the challenge of shaping local government policy, others love supporting community events, some are driven to ensure procedures and practices are sound, while others contribute through simple but impactful gestures in their community.Current areas of interest needing a volunteer to assist with:

Brian Sheppard - President
Brian Sheppard moved to Churton Park in 2015 and has been CPCA President 2016-2020 and since 2021.Area of interest: Building a better sense of neighbourly support across our diverse community.
Graham Thomas -Vice President
Graham Thomas has lived in Churton Park since 1996.
Graham is particularly keen to build the CPCA’s membership and increase the relevance of and value that the CPCA can provide to and on behalf of our ever-growing community.
Rod Stainer - Honorary Secretary
Rod is a keen walker and very active in the local community.
